![]() In the end I will never go back to a Ritz property. I mentioned to him that I too was in the business and that I would never serve what we were served. When he arrived he was rather youthful, seemed very inexperienced with communicating with customers, and was defending what he said was they way that they serve the entree. I explained that I was offended that the kitchen sent the dinner back to my wife as it was, she suggested that I speak to the chef. Very upset at this point I instructed the waitress to send over a manager. The waitress took the potatoes off of my wife's plate and returned 5 minutes later with the same potatoes pressed down onto the plate with a little force to break a few of the bliss potatoes skin. My wife said that she wanted what was on the menu "smashed potatoes". She took my wife's plate back to the kitchen and returned with the same plate everything intact and told my wife that these were the potatos that were served with the entrees and asked my wife what she wanted her to do. When the waitress returned my wife explained that the menu description was different than what had arrived. When her skirt steak arrived it was delivered atop whole fried miniature round potatoes heavily seasoned with old bay, raw red peppers, and red onions. My dinner arrived but my wife's dinner took 5 minutes more to make it to our table, and it arrived via a food runner and not the waitress. We sent it back after 15 minutes waiting for our waitress to check back in with us. It was room temperature and you could not cut it with a knife, should be tender enough to cut with fork. The octopus when it arrived was not edible. ![]() My wife ordered the Octopus appetizer and the skirt steak with "smashed Yukon Potatoes". The menu we were given was different from the menu on google which we had viewed prior to going (later told the google menu was from 2020). I thought that since this was labeled the Ritz it would have been a top notch experience. the Ritz at the Philadelphia location in 1995 and it was amazing. My wife and I had our wedding reception and dinner at. I was very excited to take my wife of 27 years out for our anniversary dinner at the Ritz. I cannot speak to the Hotel only the Restaurant were we attempted to have dinner. There were far too many nacho chips per the amount of guacamole and salsa provided so additional salsa at least should be offered. The chicken fingers were dry and fries average The guacamole and salsa were outstanding, especially the unique taste of the salsa The mixed color of the nacho chips and their crispness The size of the chicken fingers and the favorable ratio of meat to coating The Southwestern Salad with or without the grilled chicken was excellent There are enough diverse items to satisfy your palate. Äšlthough the lunch and dinner menus are not extensive and are almost identical. ![]() The raised view of the ocean and setting are amazing. My 7/11/22 lunch order on the beach was the Southwestern Salad ($18) with grilled chicken ($10). My 7/8/22 lunch order was the adult chicken fingers (5/$20) which is not on the menu. My 7/7/22 order included a frozen margarita ($17), Southwestern Salad ($18) - mixed greens, tomatoes, smoked corn-black bean, salsa, avocado, roasted peppers, corn tortillas and Cajun vinaigrette, and Chips & Salsa ($14) - roasted tomato salsa, guacamole. You can drop in right off the beach or walk down the south part of the restaurant deck. 6-seat Sand Bar that opens at 11:30am which is separate from the main restaurant. It is located at the edge of the environmental buffer between the hotel and the beach. This was my first time eating at this beach front restaurant which is also the source of the food served on the beach.
